Akasa Air becomes an IATA network member.

In addition to offering a platform for cooperation between airlines, regulators, and industry partners globally, IATA is crucial in establishing international aviation standards in the areas of safety, security, sustainability, technology, and operational efficiency. Akasa Air has joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA), a trade group that represents more than 360 airlines worldwide and more than 80% of all air travel. Following the airline’s outstanding completion of the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), a significant safety milestone acknowledging its global operational standards and a necessary need for membership, Akasa Air was admitted to IATA just over three years after it began operations.

The accomplishment highlights Akasa Air’s robust safety culture and commitment to globally recognised operational procedures. The airline’s worldwide standing is improved and stronger involvement with international stakeholders is made possible by Akasa Air’s induction into IATA. With this membership, Akasa Air will actively engage in industry-wide discussions, help create best practices, and work together on projects pertaining to digital transformation, safety management, and sustainable aviation all of which are crucial areas of focus for the future of international air travel.
