Regional trade impetus is strengthened by West India TRAVMART Pune.

From January 16–17, 2026, the third edition of West India TRAVMART (WITM) was hosted at the Hyatt Pune with great success, solidifying its standing as a targeted B2B networking platform for the travel industry in western India. Key players from the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries came together for the two-day event, which promoted regional cooperation and significant commercial interaction.

A customary lamp lighting ceremony and Ganesh Vandana, which represent good beginnings and group advancement, kicked off the event. At the inauguration event, senior office bearers from prominent industry associations such as TAAI, TAFI, ETAA, SKAL, TAAP, TAAK, and TOP demonstrated the platform’s rising industry support and relevance in the regional travel trade environment. 60 providers, representing a wide range of destination management firms, hotels and resorts, airlines, cruise specialists, and safari experts, participated in this edition of WITM. As state sponsors, Chhattisgarh Tourism and Rajasthan Tourism contributed significant destination visibility to the event by showcasing their travel packages in conspicuous and carefully planned showcases that generated ongoing interest from consumers.

With 240 pre-registered buyers present, including 50 hosted buyers from important markets like Mumbai, Thane, Aurangabad, Nashik, Satara, and Kolhapur, the buyer turnout remained strong. Nearly 4,100 pre-arranged business to business interactions were held during two intense networking sessions thanks to the structured networking style, which allowed for targeted conversations, new collaborations, and tangible business prospects.

In addition to the individual meetings, the program included thorough product and destination presentations from Airwings Nepal, Rajasthan Tourism, Chhattisgarh Tourism, and the TTJ TRAVMART Marketplace. These workshops improved the event’s overall value proposition by giving buyers more in-depth knowledge about destination developments, connectivity enhancements, and new product offerings.

With robust participation, excellent buyer engagement, and well defined business results, the third WITM edition reaffirmed TTJ’s dedication to developing business driven, effective platforms that are suited to the demands of the local travel industry. The Pune edition also emphasised how crucial Tier 2 and regional markets are becoming to propelling India’s travel and tourism sector’s next stage of expansion.
