Hyatt Pune appoints General Manager Glen Dsouza.

Glen D’Souza has been named General Manager of Hyatt Pune. His appointment came into force on January 4, 2026. Glen provides extensive experience in hotel pre-openings, operations, and brand leadership in a variety of regions from his more than 20 years in the global hospitality sector.

In his new position, Glen will concentrate on enhancing Hyatt Pune’s reputation as a top choice for eating and social interactions, as well as for business and leisure travellers. His leadership will also emphasise intuitive, experience-led hospitality, operational excellence, staff engagement, and genuine guest interactions.

Glen joins Hyatt Pune from Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata, where he served as Pre-Opening General Manager. In this capacity, he contributed significantly to the hotel’s rise to prominence as a lifestyle destination and the local awareness of its culinary establishments. Under his direction, the resort garnered many industry distinctions in 2025.

Glen held senior executive positions with Marriott International for more than 20 years in Hong Kong, Doha, and Abu Dhabi before joining Hyatt. His career encompasses seven hotel pre-openings and experience across six brands encompassing the Luxury, Premium, Extended Stay, and Select sectors. This breadth of exposure has provided him with a good awareness of brand standards, guest expectations, and market-led growth strategies.
