IHG Hotels & Resorts launches Noted Collection, a new premium brand.

With the debut of its new premium collection brand, Noted Collection, InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG) has already begun preliminary talks with a number of owners, some of whom have hotel portfolios, regarding possible integration into IHG’s system.

With a primary focus on upmarket to upper-upscale renovations, Noted Collection is made to support the operations of exceptional, unique hotels and provide travellers from all over the world with additional exceptional options and places. Being a part of IHG’s robust enterprise, which includes best-in-class revenue management, distribution, and IT capabilities, as well as more than 160 million IHG One Rewards members, could be advantageous for many of the 2.3 million independent rooms worldwide across various divisions. In the upcoming ten years, IHG hopes to have more than 150 Noted Collection hotels worldwide.

IHG Hotels and Resorts CEO Elie Maalouf stated, “We are thrilled to launch Noted Collection, which enhances our current premium brands and builds on the success of Vignette Collection in Luxury & Lifestyle as well as our rapidly expanding conversion brands like Voco and Garner. Owners of exceptional, one-of-a-kind hotels are eager to tap into our platforms and experience, and Noted Collection provides them with a unique and appealing brand that opens the door to improved performance. The advent of Noted Collection highlights our ongoing commitment to investing in a strong premium portfolio that satisfies changing guest and hotel owner expectations. Last year, we purchased the urban lifestyle brand Ruby for must-visit city break destinations.” With the assurance of True Hospitality that accompanies each stay at an IHG hotel, Noted Collection will give visitors from all around the world even more options and novel experiences.

Noted Collection is the eleventh new brand to be launched in as many years and IHG’s twenty-first overall. It will coexist with Crowne Plaza, Vovo, and Ruby Hotels in the premium market, enhancing lifestyle brands like Hotel Indigo and Vignette Collection. The Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa (EMEAA) area will be the starting point for the global rollout.

Three distinguishing characteristics form the foundation of the brand. Individually chosen properties with unique histories and design identities are the focus of “Noteworthy Stays.” “The Edit” offers guest experiences that are editorially inspired, positioning food and drink as a cultural story. “Conversation Starters” places a strong emphasis on friendly, accommodating service that is in line with IHG’s True Hospitality philosophy and promotes genuine guest relationships.

Noted Collection gives owners the chance to maintain the unique character of each hotel while taking advantage of IHG’s worldwide reach, business systems, and loyalty program, which boosts competitiveness in popular urban and resort locations.
