PROMPERÚ hosts Peru Tourism Workshop 2026 in Delhi to expand its presence in India.

Peru’s connection with the Indian tourism industry was further strengthened on February 9, 2026, when the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Tourism (PROMPERÚ) conducted the Peru Tourism Workshop 2026 in New Delhi.
Fifteen top Peruvian travel and tourism companies came together for the exclusive workshop with a tourism focus, showcasing Peru’s many attractions and building strong relationships with the Indian travel industry.
The workshop, which was created as a strategic B2B tourism platform, gave Indian tour operators, travel agencies, and industry stakeholders the opportunity to interact directly with Peruvian partners through networking events, one-on-one business meetings, and destination presentations. Participants learned in-depth information about Peru’s diverse range of tourism activities, such as luxury travel, adventure travel, cultural and historical tours, immersive travel, and eco-friendly Amazon lodges.
In the course of the workshop, PROMPERÚ underscored the increasing significance of the Indian outbound travel industry and restated its dedication to establishing Peru as a long-haul destination of choice for Indian tourists. Collaboration, product education, and long-term partnerships were emphasised in the talks as important factors influencing the growth of travel between Peru and India.
