IndiGo to operate two daily Bhavnagar–Navi Mumbai flights from March.

With effect from March 29, 2026, IndiGo has planned 14 weekly direct flights between Navi Mumbai and Bhavnagar (BHU), Gujarat. IndiGo’s domestic network and regional connectivity in western India are further strengthened with this acquisition, making Bhavnagar the airline’s 97th domestic station and 142nd station overall. IndiGo’s ATR aircraft will be used to conduct the flights on this route, providing consumers with a dependable and easy way to travel between the two cities. The IndiGo mobile app, the IndiGo website (www.goIndiGo.in), and authorised travel partners are currently accepting reservations.
With a prominent presence in industries like manufacturing, shipbreaking, salt production, diamonds, and more, Bhavnagar is a major trading hub in Gujarat’s Saurashtra area. Faster movement of people and commodities, easier trade and investment, and easy access to India’s financial center and beyond are all possible with improved air connectivity.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo stated, “With the addition of Bhavnagar to our expanding domestic network, IndiGo now flies to and from five airports in Gujarat, namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and now also Bhavnagar. By connecting this industrially significant city to IndiGo’s vast domestic and international network, the new service to Navi Mumbai will promote commerce and economic development throughout the region. These routes are crucial to increasing the accessibility of air travel as we grow our network.”
IndiGo’s ongoing emphasis on enhancing regional air connectivity is demonstrated by the introduction of services to Bhavnagar. The new route, which has twice-daily frequency, is intended to accommodate regular travel needs while providing consumers with hassle-free travel, reasonable rates, and punctual service.
