Cygnett Hotels Appoints Sujan Ganguly as Area Director for India & Nepal.

Sujan Ganguly has been recruited by Cygnett Hotels and Resorts as Area Director-Operations and Pre-Opening, India and Nepal. This move is part of the company’s efforts to bolster its leadership team as it continues to expand into important markets in the region.

With more than thirty years of experience in the hospitality sector, Ganguly has a wealth of operational knowledge and a track record of achieving operational excellence, brand positioning, and hotel performance. Throughout his career, he has held executive positions at a number of well-known hotel companies, such as Ginger Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Lords Hotels and Resorts, Fortune Hotels, Taj Hotels, Golden Tulip Hotels, Sarovar Hotels, and Peerless Hotels.

Ganguly, an award-winning general manager, is renowned for his people-focused and strategic leadership style. With an emphasis on creating high-performing teams and bolstering operational processes, his experience spans hotel operations, pre-opening management, brand development, and revenue optimisation.

In order to ensure operational consistency, brand alignment, and improved guest experiences, he will supervise operational performance and assist with pre-opening efforts throughout Cygnett’s portfolio in India and Nepal.
