Westjet and Air India form an interline alliance.
In order to improve connectivity between India and North America outside of major gateways like Toronto and Vancouver, Air India and WestJet have formed a new interline agreement.
Through the collaboration, travellers may purchase single-ticket itineraries that combine flights from WestJet and Air India, providing smooth travel with coordinated baggage management and easier connections.
Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Winnipeg, Halifax, Ottawa, Regina, Saskatoon, Kelowna, St. John’s, Prince George, Victoria, Fort St. John, Terrace, Cranbrook, Comox, and Nanaimo are among the 17 Canadian cities and 14 American cities, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Orlando, Phoenix, Tampa, Nashville, Las Vegas, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Springs, Santa Ana, and Fort Myers.
Additionally, Air India’s European gateways at Amsterdam, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), London (Heathrow), and London (Gatwick) provide access to places like Halifax, Calgary, and St. John’s.

By combining WestJet’s North American reach with Air India’s long-haul capabilities, this collaboration improves customers’ overall experience and offers significant new travel possibilities.
Currently, Air India offers 75 weekly services to European gateways that facilitate further connections under the alliance in addition to 17 weekly nonstop flights to Canada, including 10 to Toronto and seven to Vancouver.
