Air India Express Resumes West Asia Services.
Flights on the Kozhikode–Salalah route restart from July 2, Kozhikode-Kuwait resumes from July 3 and Bengaluru-Kuwait commence from July 4.
With the return of services to Salalah in Oman and Kuwait, Air India Express has restored connection to all destinations throughout its West Asia network. On July 2, flights on the Kozhikode–Salalah route will restart. While flights between Bengaluru and Kuwait start on July 4 and will gradually increase in frequency over the next several days, services between Kozhikode and Kuwait restart on July 3.
The Kozhikode–Salalah service will operate twice every week. Starting on July 3, there will be one weekly flight between Kozhikode and Kuwait; starting on July 5, there will be three weekly flights. Following its restart, the airline presently operates out of Salalah International Airport and Muscat International Airport in the Sultanate of Oman.
Additionally, starting on July 3, the airline will resume flights between Muscat and Mangaluru. The airline provides roughly forty weekly flights to seven Indian destinations from Muscat.
Bengaluru–Kuwait services will operate once a week from July 4, increasing to three weekly flights from July 7. All Air India Express flights to and from Kuwait will operate from Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport.
Air India Express is still growing, with flights to 13 locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, the airline connects 18 Indian cities directly to West Asia with over 780 weekly flights. The airline has strengthened connection throughout its expanding domestic and international network by introducing new services in recent weeks that link Navi Mumbai and Abu Dhabi, Guwahati and Abu Dhabi, Guwahati and Dubai, Bengaluru and Phuket, and Pune and Amritsar.
Following these developments, Air India Express will operate roughly 415 weekly flights from Bengaluru, linking the city with 30 domestic and seven overseas destinations. The airline conducts roughly 85 weekly flights from Kozhikode to 13 locations in West Asia and Bengaluru.
