Emirates Adds A380 Delhi Flights and Expands Premium Economy.
On October 25, 2026, Emirates will launch its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai-Delhi route, making Delhi the third Indian destination to be served by the airline’s renowned double-decker aircraft, after Bengaluru and Mumbai.
The airline’s modified Boeing 777 aircraft, which now run the remaining three daily Delhi routes with four-class cabins, including Premium Economy, will be complemented by the A380 on flights EK512/513 in a four-class configuration.
With the introduction of the A380, all daily flights between Dubai and Delhi will now offer Premium Economy. The interior offers a variety of high-end amenities, improved eating served on chinaware, and cream leather seats with extra legroom and recline.
In order to give passengers more options and comfort, Emirates will start offering Premium Economy on routes to six Indian destinations in October: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Kochi.

We are happy to announce that starting in October, our much awaited A380 services will be available in Delhi, a crucial network gateway. With Delhi becoming our third A380 destination after Mumbai and Bengaluru, it is an honour to increase our presence in India given the high demand for travel to and from the country. We appreciate our ongoing collaboration and would want to thank the authorities for making this possible.”
“We are also making our Premium Economy product more widely available across India to reach six gateways and nearly half of our scheduled weekly flights. As evidence of our collaboration with India and dedication to our clients, numerous other service improvements are in the works,” he continued.
All four daily trips on the Delhi-Dubai route the A380-operated EK513 and the Boeing 777-operated EK511, EK515, and EK517 will offer Premium Economy.
The Boeing 777 currently flying the route will be replaced by Emirates’ Airbus A350 on the daily Kolkata-Dubai service (EK570/571) starting on October 25. Premium Economy will be offered on all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai, in addition to the four-class converted Boeing 777 operating EK572/573 five times a week.
Four daily flights from Delhi, twenty-two weekly flights from Mumbai, twelve weekly flights from Kolkata, nine weekly flights from Ahmedabad, seven weekly flights from Bengaluru, and two weekly flights from Kochi will all offer Premium Economy by the end of October.
Improvements to the Customer Experience
Additionally, Emirates highlighted a number of improvements to its customer service in India. Along with a dedicated call center in Mumbai, the airline recently built Emirates travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai. More locations are planned in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Passengers from the airline’s nine Indian gateways—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram will continue to have access to more than 6,500 channels of in-flight entertainment, including programming in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Kannada, as well as regionally inspired Indian cuisine and multilingual cabin staff.
With 167 weekly flights between India and Dubai, Emirates offers connectivity to almost 140 locations worldwide.
