Vivek Pandey elected TAAI UP & Uttarakhand Chapter Chairman.
On August 29, 2026, the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand Chapter conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Chapter Elections at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lucknow, where a new leadership team was chosen.
Vivek Pandey of Rivotrip Holidays LLP, Lucknow, was chosen as the Chapter Chairman after the election procedure. Mohammed Khalid Shah of Ashraf Travels Services Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow, was chosen as Honorary Treasurer, and Syed Ali Arshad Zaidi of Arsh Tours, Lucknow, was chosen as Honorary Secretary.
Pandey thanked members for their trust and stated that the new leadership would strive to establish a chapter in which each member is respected and given the chance to engage and contribute.
In order to provide members throughout Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand with useful advantages, he continued, the team would endeavour to take advantage of TAAI’s network, resources, and industrial strength.
The departing Chapter team members, Hina Zaidi and Pradeep Kumar Roy, were also thanked by the new leadership for managing the Chapter and building a solid foundation.
In addition to increasing member participation and furthering the interests of the tourism industry in both states, the incoming team stated that it would aim to expand on the work of the departing leadership.
