Ajman launches Indian travel trade incentive program to boost visitors.

An incentive program for Indian travel trade partners has been announced by the Government of Ajman’s Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media in an attempt to boost interaction and increase the number of Indian tourists.

The initiative was unveiled at Ajman’s three-city networking event in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai, which brought the destination together with tour operators, travel agencies, and other business partners.

From September 15 to December 1, 2026, the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media Incentive Program will be in effect. A financial incentive will be given to qualified travel agents for each passenger booked to Ajman under the program, which is available to reservations for one to forty-nine persons.

The program’s goal is to incentivise travel agencies to actively market Ajman in the Indian market and make reservations throughout the campaign.

Additionally, the three-city event gave the Indian travel industry a chance to improve business-to-business ties and raise awareness of Ajman’s tourism offerings. The emirate’s expanding array of experiences in leisure, nature, family, hospitality, and corporate events was highlighted during discussions.

“India has always been an important market for Ajman, and our engagement with the Indian travel trade has been central to building awareness and demand for the destination,” stated H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General, Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media, Government of Ajman.

“With the introduction of the new incentive scheme, we wanted to create a tangible commercial opportunity for our trade partners while encouraging them to introduce more Indian travellers to Ajman. Stronger economic ties, the appropriate incentives, and increased destination awareness, in our opinion, will enable us to create a sustained momentum and greatly boost Indian travel to Ajman, “ he continued, emphasising the program’s goal.

“The Indian traveller is becoming increasingly curious about destinations that offer a distinctive experience beyond the conventional UAE holiday, and Ajman is exceptionally well placed to meet this evolving demand,” stated Neeti Sharma, Director of Intrepid Marketing and Communications.

She went on to say that the goal of ongoing interaction with travel agencies was to give them the confidence and destination expertise needed to suggest Ajman to their clients. Sharma claims that the incentive program will assist turn increased interest in a destination into visits and offer further impetus during the next travel period.

The program is a component of Ajman’s larger tourist development strategy under Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to increase the contribution of tourism, culture, and history to economic development and quality of life while enhancing the emirate’s reputation as an accessible and varied destination.

As part of the plan, Ajman intends to increase its involvement with the international travel trade and priority source markets while developing its services in the areas of leisure, nature, family tourism, hospitality, and corporate events.

The Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media declared that it would keep collaborating with Indian travel trade partners to improve destination awareness, boost Ajman’s participation in travel schedules, and create long-term demand from the Indian market.
