Akasa Air launches Udaipur operations in Rajasthan.

The city of Udaipur is now connected to Mumbai and Bengaluru by means of daily direct flights thanks to the launch of Akasa Air’s operations from those locations. The initial flight, which took off from Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur at 11:35 a.m. on October 15, 2026, arrived at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru at 13:55 a.m. With this launch, Akasa Air has established its second destination in Rajasthan, following Jaipur. This strengthens the airline’s connectivity to one of the most prominent tourism and leisure sectors in India, while also providing passengers departing from Udaipur with increased access to critical urban hubs.
The launch was commemorated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting ceremony that took place at Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur. The ceremony was attended by Harjinder Singh Bhasin, Senior Vise President – Airports, Akasa Air, as well as representatives from Akasa Air and the administration of the airport. The very first passenger on the very first aircraft was given a unique boarding pass to utilise during their journey.
