Through the successful conclusion of its 6th Annual Roadshow, which brought together eight tourism brand partners and connected with over 200 travel agents in Surat, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, Global Destinations strengthened its on-ground relationship with the travel sector. The multi-city effort provided a targeted forum for destination knowledge sharing, product updates, and the strengthening of significant trade connections.
Because of their increasing outbound relevance, the cities were carefully chosen. Metro centers like Kolkata and Ahmedabad continue to be important source markets for high-value, well-traveled clientele looking for new locations, cutting-edge itineraries, and immersive travel experiences, even as Tier II cities like Surat continue to show significant progress. A deliberate component of Global Destinations’ yearly roadshow strategy is the inclusion of at least one Tier II city, which aims to attract trade partners who serve affluent, discriminating customers and have significant growth potential.
In order to assist trade partners during a crucial planning stage, participating partners included AlliedTPro (USA), Australia’s Worldwide Travel (Australia), Desert Adventures (UAE, Jordan, Oman), Escapes s Co. Travel (Morocco), Private Safaris (East Africa), Sopa Lodges (East Africa), Tangerine Tours (Sri Lanka), Threeland Travel (Indo China), and World of Travel Factory (Greece s Cyprus).
Pranav Kapadia, Founder and Director of Global Destinations stated, “Our roadshow is not just about reach, but about relevance. Trade partners have immediate access to destination information when customer enquiries are at their highest due to its timing, which is shortly before the busiest travel season. By working closely with partners in both established and new regions, we can jointly grow our business and match our offers with changing traveller expectations.”
Following the roadshow, Global locations attended OTM 2026, which increased exposure for partner locations at one of the most important business gatherings for the travel industry and expanded contact with a larger network of travel professionals.
The project, which saw high levels of engagement and quality interactions in all three cities, confirmed Global Destinations’ dedication to boosting outbound travel growth in India and enabling trade.
