Seven Tides launches 396-key NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta.

After the previous Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai underwent a gradual makeover and relocation, Seven Tides announced the formal opening of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta. According to reports, the 396-room establishment, which is owned by Seven Tides and run by Minor Hotels, is the most recent addition to Seven Tides’ hospitality portfolio and expands on the company’s current partnership with Minor Hotels, which also runs NH Collection Dubai The Palm.

“NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta represents an important investment in one of our established hospitality assets and reflects our long-term approach to creating and enhancing properties that respond to the ongoing evolution of Dubai’s tourism and hospitality sector,” stated Ghanim Bin Sulayem, Group CEO & Managing Director, Seven Tides.

“We have previously successfully introduced the NH Collection brand to Dubai through NH Collection Dubai The Palm thanks to our relationship with Minor Hotels. Building on that partnership, we saw a clear chance to rebrand Ibn Battuta under the same high-end name while making investments to increase the property’s appeal in the corporate, group, leisure and MICE markets.”

Following the inauguration of NH Collection Dubai The Palm in 2023, the launch increases NH Collection’s footprint in the United Arab Emirates. Owned by Seven Tides and run by Minor Hotels, the Palm Jumeirah facility was the first NH Collection hotel to open in the nation.

There are 396 rooms and suites available at NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, ranging from Junior, Family, and Terrace Pool Suites to Collection, Superior, and Premium Rooms. Club Rooms and suites offer access to the Executive Lounge, and certain two-bedroom arrangements accommodate families and longer-term visitors. Private outside areas with temperature-controlled pools are available in Terrace Pool Suites.

“This transformation reflects our strategy of actively investing in our hospitality assets to enhance their positioning, strengthen their commercial performance, and create long-term value. We think NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta is in a good position to meet the increasing demand in Dubai’s leisure, corporate, and events sectors because of its location, size, and wide range of leisure and MICE offerings,” Bin Sulayem continued

“We are still optimistic about Dubai’s hospitality industry and will keep looking for ways to improve and invest in our portfolio in order to support the emirate’s tourism objectives.”
