Merlin Entertainments to Open First Minecraft Theme Park at Chessington World of Adventures.
The first completely immersive Minecraft-themed land at a major theme park is called Minecraft World, and Merlin Entertainments and Mojang Studios have revealed plans to open it. The new attraction is scheduled to open at Greater London’s Chessington World of Adventures in 2027.
The £50 million project is a major step forward for the Minecraft franchise, introducing aspects of the widely played video game into a real-world setting. The land seeks to reproduce the Minecraft universe for tourists, drawing inspiration from the game’s distinctive biomes, creatures, and artefacts.
A new roller coaster, interactive experiences, play areas, and specialised shops and restaurants are just a few of the themed attractions that will be available at Minecraft World. The project is regarded as one of the most ambitious theme park projects that Merlin Entertainments has undertaken recently.
In 2027, Minecraft World will open at Chessington World of Adventures, around 35 minutes away by direct rail from London Waterloo.

In order to let the game’s worldwide fan base experience the universe as authentically as possible, the alliance also expands collaboration with a number of renowned Minecraft creators.
