IndiGo resumes scheduled operations and launches repatriation flights.
In response to the changing circumstances in the Middle East and Persian Gulf, IndiGo has started repatriation operations, carefully collaborating with the host governments and pertinent Indian authorities. There are now four planes headed to Jeddah, and later in the day, there will be another service to and from Muscat.
Subject to current airspace circumstances and regulatory permits, the airline intends to gradually resume regular services and expand seat capacity starting on March 4, 2026. A total of 13 return flights (26 sectors) will be reinstated by IndiGo to Athens in Europe and Muscat, Jeddah, and Madinah in the Middle East.
Depending on local conditions and required clearances, repatriation flights to stations in the United Arab Emirates are also being explored for March 4. According to IndiGo, confirmation will be given as events develop.
The airline stated that it is collaborating with authorities to get slots and licenses for other destinations in order to progressively normalise operations.
