Etihad Adds Direct Flights to Dhaka.
On June 26, Etihad Airways, the official airline of the United Arab Emirates, made its first flight to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, using a B777. In addition to meeting the ongoing demand for passenger travel and logistics between the UAE and Bangladesh, the route improves trade connections along the South Asia corridor.
On June 26, EY382 left Abu Dhabi at 22:00 and landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka early the next day. Etihad’s Boeing 777 aircraft are used for the new service, which runs four times a week. Each trip has 374 Economy seats and 28 lie-flat Business seats.

One of the biggest Bangladeshi populations in the world resides in the United Arab Emirates, and this service serves as both a direct connection for the families who live there and a gateway for the Bangladeshi diaspora going through Abu Dhabi from the Gulf Cooperation Council, North America, and the United Kingdom.
