With 185 keys, Le Méridien makes its debut in Surat.

As part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts announced the inauguration of Le Méridien Surat, the brand’s second hotel in Gujarat and its first in the city.

The hotel is the brand’s second Gujarati property. It has a fitness center, swimming pool, food options, and event spaces.

The hotel has 185 rooms, including suites; The Surat Kitchen, an all-day eating establishment; Le Scoop, a gelato program; and more than 100,000 square feet of adaptable spaces, including as two pillarless ballrooms (Ruby and Emerald) and large outside lawns. The hotel has a well-equipped fitness center and a swimming pool.

“Le Méridien’s debut in Surat represents an ideal expansion opportunity for the brand in a high-potential urban center, and India continues to be an important growth market,” stated Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International. “The brand’s dedication to assisting guests in discovering and savouring destinations through a creative lens is perfectly aligned with Surat’s heritage in craftsmanship, thriving food culture, and position as a regional hub,” she continued.

Le Méridien Surat has teamed with Surat Fort to provide free entrance to the fort as part of the brand’s iconic Unlock Art program.

Every component, from carefully planned areas that respect regional craftsmanship to carefully chosen dining options and adaptable places for festivities, has been created to encourage visitors to explore Surat from the brand’s imaginative perspective.
