China Southern Airlines will return to India after six years. On September 21, 2026, the airline will launch Delhi-Guangzhou services, connecting the Indian capital to Guangzhou Baiyun other Airport and offering onwards access to China and other markets. Group Concorde is the airline’s India GSA.

Five weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be operated by a Boeing 737-8 with four Business Class and 170 Economy Class seats. Delhi-Guangzhou will operate daily from October 26.

Delhi-Guangzhou flight CZ360 leaves at 20:20 and arrives at 04:15. Returning service CZ359 leaves Guangzhou at 15:35 and arrives in Delhi at 19:00.

Xia Bing (Benny), General Manager – India, China Southern Airlines, said, “Services from September 21, 2026, mark a very important step in strengthening our business in the India market and bringing India and China closer through greater connectivity. India is a key market for China and China Southern Airlines, and we are committed to creating solid relationships and providing our clients with seamless connections across China and onwards through our large international network.”

Group Concorde CEO Prithviraj Singh Chug stated, “China Southern was the largest Chinese carrier between Delhi and China before Covid-19, and we are excited to see the airline return. Guangzhou is a popular destination, especially during the Canton Fair, but we need year-round travel trade assistance to make this route successful.”

Chug said China Southern plans to expand beyond Delhi, pending government and regulatory permits. He announced ambitions to expand the airline’s cargo operations to serve India, China, and other overseas markets.

Through its hub in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Delhi passengers may reach over 141 Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan.

China Southern connects Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Darwin in Australia; Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand; Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York in the US; Vancouver and Toronto in Canada; and Osaka, Tokyo, and Seoul in Japan and South Korea. Additionally, the airline serves Europe and Southeast Asia.

The link should attract business and leisure tourists. Guangzhou is a major business hub and hosts the Canton Fair twice a year, in October and November.

China Southern is offering discounted one-way and return rates on the Delhi-Guangzhou route from INR 22,000 and INR 33,000, respectively.

The Sky Pearl Club frequent flier program offers expedited check-in, extra luggage allowance, and airport lounge access to Silver and higher-tier members.

China Southern flew 173 million passengers and 1.96 million tonnes of cargo and mail last year on its 973 aircraft.

Returning to India is part of its goal to re-establish and increase passenger and cargo services.

On September 10, 2026, China Southern Airlines and Group Concorde conducted a networking event at Hyatt Regency Delhi for travel trade partners and industry stakeholders. The airline’s team met with partners and discussed forthcoming operations in the evening.
