Volt by TravClan and Emerging Travel Group partner to expand hotel inventory access.

Emerging Travel Group, the operator of the travel brands RateHawk, Roundtrip, and ZenHotels, has announced a strategic agreement with Volt by TravClan, a global provider of B2B travel API infrastructure. The collaboration intends to use Volt’s API technology to directly source a variety of superior hotel inventories.

Through quick, dependable, and scalable APIs, the partnership represents a major turning point in Volt’s development as a worldwide supplier by giving foreign travel platforms access to reasonably priced hotel inventory throughout India and Southeast Asia. The partnership tackles long-standing issues with legacy travel systems, such as fragmented inventory, slow response times that affect mobile conversions, and duplicate content that makes booking more difficult, by fusing deep regional sourcing with a strong technological infrastructure.

These difficulties get worse as travel platforms enter fast-growing markets like Southeast Asia and India. Global aggregators usually lack the local connections necessary to negotiate cheap rates, while regional suppliers frequently lack the technical know how to link with global platforms. By utilising Volt’s directly contracted supplier network and API-first design, Emerging Travel Group enhances its variety of lodging options across Asia.

“We’re seeing a paradigm shift,” stated Arun Bagaria, co-founder of TravClan. The previous model focused on gathering suppliers. The new paradigm focusses on intelligent orchestration, using simply functional infrastructure to link the appropriate inventory to the appropriate platforms.

Building direct supplier ties to enhance commercial outcomes and creating a smooth API framework for technical integration are two historically distinct approaches that Volt’s strategy combines. In addition to keeping in touch with more than 50 international suppliers, the company has obtained direct contracts with more than 5,000 properties throughout Asia and the Middle East. This makes it possible for Volt to provide access to more than 200,000 lodging choices via a single, uniform API.

Partners like Emerging Travel Group, and especially its B2B platform RateHawk, can rapidly access hundreds of properties with precise content mapping, real time availability, and high quality data thanks to Volt’s API first technology. Fast response times, a varied inventory footprint encompassing India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, and robust post booking operational support are all guaranteed by the integration. Every reservation made using Volt is protected by TravClan’s Booking Guarantee and is reconfirmed to guarantee a seamless check in process.

In order to provide richer content, quicker integrations, and better performance, global aggregators and next generation infrastructure providers work together in this alliance, which represents a larger trend towards a more integrated B2B travel ecosystem.

Erik Akhmetgaliev, Regional Director for APAC at RateHawk stated, “TravClan brings real regional expertise along with technology that matches the high standards required by our B2B partners. Even though we currently have 2.9 million lodging alternatives in our robust inventory network, our goal is to grow it even more by adding high-quality inventory that converts.”

As travel platforms embrace AI-driven customisation more and more, Volt is poised to play a key role. Partners may create more intelligent itineraries that integrate hotels, flights, and sightseeing, tailor suggestions based on traveler preferences and booking behaviour, and optimise price and availability in real time to increase conversions by integrating Volt APIs.
