Qatar Airways Expands Global Network with Return to Helsinki and Tokyo Haneda.

The airline intends to start operating flights on July 15 and increase the frequency starting on August 1. Notably, this summer the airline will fly to more than 160 international locations.

Starting on July 15, 2026, Qatar Airways will resume flights to Helsinki, Finland, and Tokyo Haneda, Japan, as part of its expansion into international markets.

The airline will begin operating four weekly flights to Helsinki on July 15 and expand to seven weekly flights on August 1 as part of its commitment to improving connectivity to Europe. The airline’s vast worldwide network will be advantageous to passengers from Australia, Kenya, and Southeast Asia.

The flights will run from Doha (DOH) to Helsinki (HEL) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and vice versa. Additional flights on the same route will run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday starting on August 1.

Starting on July 15, the airline will offer four weekly flights back to Tokyo Haneda (HND) to supplement its service to Tokyo Narita (NRT). The airline will expand its operations to seven weekly flights starting on August 1 in order to facilitate visitors from Europe and the Middle East with onwards transfers in Japan.

By reconstructing its network to serve more than 160 destinations on six continents this summer, Qatar Airways is advancing global connectivity.
