LAAX strengthens its India presence with two networking events in Mumbai.

In an effort to increase its interaction with the Indian travel industry, LAAX, Switzerland’s premier and innovative mountain resort, held two carefully planned networking events in Mumbai on February 23 and 24.

The destination used a dual-format strategy to showcase its versatile positioning and year-round appeal when Claude Bravi, Director of Customer Performance Management at LAAX, visited from Switzerland.

The first night, which took place at a modern lounge in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), featured a laid-back networking format that promoted candid conversation about LAAX’s internationally renowned freestyle culture, forward-thinking hospitality, and rising popularity among Indian tourists

The second event was held in a more formal and private setting at the Swiss Consul General’s Residence in Mumbai. In order to establish LAAX as a progressive alpine ecosystem, the evening emphasised the airport’s Swiss heritage, innovation-driven mountain infrastructure, and Greenstyle sustainability activities.

LAAX was able to interact with partners from other segments while preserving the distinctive character and positioning of each experience thanks to the dual-format.

Claude Bravi said, “LAAX is not defined by a single season. We are dedicated to establishing LAAX as a vibrant, year-round alpine destination, even though we are well-known throughout the world for our winter prowess and freestyle culture. LAAX is a distinctive mountain leisure ecosystem that offers everything from summer hiking and biking to activities and attractions, lifestyle events, architecture, and sustainability innovation. We see great opportunity in presenting this more comprehensive, all-season vision to Indian tourists, as India is a strategic growth market for us.”

Nikita Rawtani, the founder of TravelGyaan and the India Representative for LAAX, who has been leading the region’s market development initiatives, organised and hosted the evenings.

“Our goal was to convey the dual essence of LAAX through two unique experiences, one modern and laid-back and the other a little more sophisticated, “stated Nikita Rawtani. Both nights gave us the chance to forge deep connections and promote LAAX as a place that combines alpine design, freestyle energy, and progressive sustainability.
