IndiGo to Deploy Second A321XLR on Delhi–Istanbul Route from April 19.

On April 19, 2026, IndiGo will launch its second Airbus A321XLR aircraft on the Delhi Istanbul route, bolstering its global operations.

Because of its codeshare arrangement with Turkish Airlines, the route provides smooth onwards connection to more than 50 international destinations, making it strategically significant for the carrier.

IndiGo will launch a dual-class configuration with 183 Economy seats and 12 IndiGo Stretch seats its business product for the first time in this industry. Free hot meals and drinks will be provided to passengers in both cabins, and free alcoholic drinks will be given to IndiGo Stretch patrons. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased or reserved in advance by economy passengers.

Passengers can access a variety of video on their own devices thanks to the aircraft’s cutting-edge digital in-flight entertainment system.

An important turning point in IndiGo’s foreign development strategy was reached earlier this year when it became the first Indian airline to add the Airbus A321XLR to its fleet and begin operations to Athens.

The Delhi–Istanbul service will run every day starting on April 19, 2026. Flight 6E 0011 will depart Delhi at 07:30 and arrive in Istanbul at 13:55, while flight 6E 0012 will depart Istanbul at 18:20 and arrive in Delhi at 05:20 (+1).
