With significant international participation, the 15th edition of GITB 2026 commences in Jaipur.

With its opening ceremony on April 26 at the Jai Mahal Palace Hotel, the 15th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) 2026 is presently taking place in Jaipur.
Over 10,000 B2B meetings are anticipated during the event, which has attracted 185 hosted foreign buyers from 50 countries, demonstrating its importance as a crucial venue for marketing India’s inbound tourism
In her welcome speech, Jyotsna Suri, CMD of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group and former president of FICCI, stressed the value of cooperative industry efforts to improve India’s standing in the global tourist market. Suchi Tyagi, Suman Billa, and V. Srinivas also spoke at the session, sharing their perspectives on industry expansion, policy direction, and new prospects.
The publication of the EY Knowledge Paper, “Reimagining Inbound Tourism in India – Trends, Technology and Transformational Opportunities: Towards Incredible India 4.0,” which offers viewpoints on the changing tourism landscape, was a major highlight of the opening day.
The Jaipur expo and Convention Center is hosting the expo today and tomorrow (April 27–28), and exhibitors, sponsored buyers, and delegates are networking extensively. Today is also set aside for the FICCI Travel and Excellence Awards’ second edition.
