Tivoli Hospitality and Spalba adopt 3D digital twin technology for event venues.

In order to enable corporate and wedding clients to digitally explore, modify, and organise events prior to their initial site visit, Tivoli Hospitality Group has partnered strategically with venue technology startup Spalba to implement 3D digital twin technology throughout its event locations.

Two properties from the Tivoli portfolio are now operational on Spalba’s platform as part of the partnership, enabling customers to virtually envision locations and create event settings prior to making reservations.

With the use of Spalba’s technology, planners may instantly alter layouts, seating combinations, décor, and stage configurations in immersive digital copies of real-world venues. This speeds up decision-making and increases the effectiveness of planning while reducing the need for several site visits.

The action is anticipated to improve Tivoli’s standing in the MICE and wedding markets, where quicker turnaround times and visual-led planning are becoming important decision-making factors. Remarkably, more than 65% of MICE venues are now using virtual tours to facilitate quicker visual evaluation and decision-making.

Amit K. Sood, CEO of Tivoli Hospitality Group stated, “Our clients today expect a higher level of clarity before they commit, especially for large-format weddings and corporate events. It’s becoming essential to be able to see the entire event from a distance. We can provide such transparency and speed up decision-making thanks to this relationship.”

Through a single visual interface, Spalba’s platform facilitates communication between corporate clients, hotel teams, and event planners, thereby lowering operational friction during the planning process.

“We are witnessing the emergence of a new layer in hospitality where physical venues are complemented by their digital counterparts,” stated Vishal Puri, co-founder of Spalba. A more effective marketplace is being created as a result of this change, where decisions are made based on real-time visualisation rather than static photos or site visits. Digital twins will eventually be a common layer in upscale accommodation.

This collaboration is indicative of a larger trend in the hotel industry toward digital, demand-driven event planning, where technology is progressively impacting search, assessment, and reservation choices. The partnership seeks to improve MICE and wedding planning’s predictability, speed, and operational efficiency by utilising AI-led capabilities such space navigation tools like “Wayfinder,” AI-assisted content tools, and input-based event mock builders with immersive visualisation.

Spalba claims that hotels that use its digital twin technology have seen improvements in lead-to-booking conversions of 30–35%, a 50% increase in enquiry-to-engagement rates, and a 60% reduction in sales cycles.

In accordance with demand from the corporate and wedding categories, a progressive expansion across the larger portfolio is planned. The rollout will start with Tivoli Hospitality Group’s major locations in India.
