And Beyond

Tucano Peru and DMCBazaar partner to meet rising demand for Peru in India.

In an effort to revolutionise travel connectivity between India and Latin America, DMCBazaar, an AI-powered business-to-business platform for destination management companies, has partnered strategically with Tucano Peru, a travel curator in Peru. The goal of this partnership is to capitalise on the quickly increasing interest of Indian tourists in visiting Peru, a country renowned for its rich cultural legacy, natural beauties, and historic heritage.

Peru has emerged as a powerful aspirational destination in Latin America, where Indian outbound tourism has been steadily increasing in recent years. Over the past two years, Indian visitors have boosted their searches by more than 60% for Machu Picchu, Peruvian food, and Andean adventure experiences. Nevertheless, the Indian travel industry still has limited access to carefully chosen, dependable, and scalable Peruvian travel products in spite of this growing demand.

By fusing DMCBazaar’s AI-powered digital supply solutions with Tucano Peru’s extensive on-ground destination expertise, the alliance aims to close this gap. Through the co-design of travel itineraries with a Peruvian focus, destination training programs for Indian travel agencies, and the building of a strong digital foundation to facilitate future live inventory integration, the effort aims to improve market readiness.

Less than 2% of outbound travel from India to the Americas now takes place in Peru, despite the fact that it is one of the top three long-haul destinations for Indian millennials and adventure travellers. The alliance seeks to establish consistency, confidence, and long-term growth in the India–Peru travel corridor by coordinating scalable technology-led access to India’s travel trade network with reliable local operations.

DMCBazaar co-founders Varun Sarda and Irshad Mahmood Dadan commented on the collaboration, saying, “This is a partnership built on foresight. To support the upcoming surge in India-Peru travel, we’re fusing our platform intelligence with Tucano’s destination expertise. Our tour through Latin America is just getting started.”

The CEO and founder of Tucano Peru, Veronica Napuri, stated: “This collaboration strategically links India’s expansion with Peru’s authenticity. We are creating the most effective and scalable bridge for Indian tourists to explore Peru by utilising DMCBazaar’s internet reach and our location expertise. It is a novel approach to trading in cross-continental travel.
