LUX Collective Debuts in Rwanda with two Properties.

With three upcoming projects scheduled for 2028 throughout Volcanoes National Park, Nyungwe National Park, and Akagera National Park, LUX* Lake Kivu & SALT of Akagera together announce the next phase of the ultra-LUX*ury Rwanda Tourism Circuit.

With the opening of LUX* Lake Kivu and SALT of Akagera, the first two establishments in the Group’s five-resort Rwanda Tourism Circuit, the upscale hospitality operator LUX* Collective makes its debut in Rwanda. A new age of luxury hospitality characterised by regenerative tourism, immersive nature-led travel, and cultural connection is being ushered in with the launches of the internationally acclaimed LUX* and SALT brands, which are spread across the nation’s most iconic locations.

LUX* Lake Kivu is a private luxury resort situated on the shores of Lake Kivu in western Rwanda. The 14-key resort offers modern hospitality, wellness, and destination-inspired experiences, all geared toward leisurely travel. Sunrise Yoga Practice, Maison LUX* café & bar, international restaurant Cleo, lakeside destination dining Riva, and the LUX* ME Spa are among the culinary pleasures available on the site. SALT of Akagera offers a five-star luxury eco-safari experience overlooking Lake Ihema in Akagera National Park, which is regarded as Rwanda’s sole Big Five reserve. The firm claims that the redesigned 60-key lodge is the first SALT safari property in the world. The retreat is surrounded by a variety of ecosystems, including wetlands, lakes, woods, and wildlife-rich savannahs.
