Hyatt & Green Rock to Launch Hyatt Regency in Armenia.

The Hyatt Regency brand will make its debut in Armenia with the signing of a franchise agreement for Hyatt Regency Dilijan by Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Green Rock LLC. Representatives from the Armenian government, Hyatt, and Green Rock attended a ceremony in Dilijan to mark the deal.
The Hyatt Regency Dilijan is intended to have 205 guestrooms and suites, a purpose-built convention center, a variety of food options, and family entertainment options. With a rooftop helipad, the hotel hopes to serve both domestic and foreign visitors.
The hotel is a part of a 462,000 square foot (43,000 square metre) complex that includes a number of eateries and bars, shops, family entertainment options like two movie theatres and a 32,000 square foot (3,000 square metre) wellness center with an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a full-service spa.
Additionally, a conference center that can accommodate over 550 people is expected to be built into the hotel, enhancing Dilijan’s capacity to hold larger conferences, business meetings, weddings, and social events all year long.
More than 400 jobs in the hospitality, food and beverage, wellness, events, engineering, and hotel operations sectors are anticipated to be created by the development, supporting the long-term prosperity of the area and fostering the development of local talent.
“Together with Hyatt, we aim to create more than a hotel – we aim to help shape a destination that will attract visitors year-round while supporting tourism, culture, and the local community,” stated Katerina Danekina, CEO of Green Rock.
According to Ludwig Bouldoukian, Regional Vice President Development, Middle East and Africa, Hyatt, “Dilijan has tremendous long-term potential and the Hyatt Regency brand, with its premium full-service offering, is ideally positioned to support the destination as a leading location for leisure travel, meetings, and events.”
Currently, Hyatt operates more than 245 Hyatt Regency properties in more than 50 nations.
