Shivangi Gupta Appointed Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton Grand Bangalore.

The Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has strengthened its commercial leadership team by appointing Shivangi Gupta as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Shivangi has over 14 years of experience in the hotel sector and is well-versed in strategic sales leadership, market positioning, and revenue growth for top premium brands.

In her new position, Shivangi will be in charge of the hotel’s overall sales and marketing plan, with an emphasis on increasing market share, boosting income in important markets including corporate, MICE, and leisure, and fortifying the hotel’s reputation in a cutthroat industry. In order to meet RevPAR and ADR goals, she will also be in charge of managing high-achieving teams, streamlining distribution networks, and putting data-driven tactics into practice.

In addition to important responsibilities at Vivanta Bengaluru Residency Road, Shivangi has held senior positions with Accor and Taj Hotels (IHCL). Her most recent position was Director of Sales & Marketing at the Taj Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, where she oversaw the property’s commercial strategy. She started working with Accor as a management trainee at the Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Tech Park.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Goa.

Sushma Khichar, General Manager of the Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, commented on the appointment, saying that Shivangi has held important positions at Vivanta Bengaluru Residency Road in addition to leadership responsibilities with Accor and Taj Hotels (IHCL).
