From Noida International Airport, Akasa Air begins operations.

By starting operations out of Noida International Airport (NIA), Akasa Air strengthened its position in the National Capital Region (NCR) and reached a significant milestone in its network growth strategy.

On June 16, 2026, the airline’s first flight took off from Navi Mumbai International Airport at 07:25 and landed at Noida International Airport at 09:35. The first flight from Noida International Airport (NIA) took off at 10:15 and reached Navi Mumbai International Airport at 12:30. As a result, Akasa Air is among the first airlines to run commercial services out of Noida International Airport, demonstrating the airline’s dedication to contributing to the construction of new aviation infrastructure and increasing access to high-growth areas throughout India.

Anand Srinivasan, co-founder and chief commercial officer of the airline stated, “The start of operations from Noida International Airport marks an important milestone in Akasa Air’s growth journey. The airport presents substantial prospects to improve connectivity for travellers throughout the National Capital Region and adjacent states, as it is one of India’s newest aviation gateways. Our early presence in Noida is consistent with our long-term plan to support the development of contemporary aviation infrastructure while establishing a robust network throughout important growing markets.
