Thailand’s 98-key THE BARAI HUA HIN is unveiled by Hyatt.

The resort is where the Hyatt brand’s Unbound Collection makes its national premiere. With Cayo Levantado in the Dominican Republic and The Clayfield in Canada, the brand is anticipated to continue expanding internationally this year.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand made its debut in Thailand with the launch of THE BARAI HUA HIN, according to Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
The 98-room beachfront resort, which is situated along Hua Hin’s ancient Khao Takiap shoreline, combines exceptional healing traditions, locally inspired design, and the spirit of Sanook, which is Thai for “joy of life.” Based on this heritage, THE BARAI HUA HIN has grown into a boutique resort after opening as a spa 20 years ago. The renovated establishment provides a healing haven based on traditional Thai hospitality.
Marco Avitabile, General Manager of THE BARAI HUA HIN stated, “Our philosophy is rooted in Sanook, the belief that joy, ease, and delight should be part of life’s most meaningful moments. We invite guests to experience renewal in a way that feels unique, distinctive, and completely their own, whether they come for time by the sea, profound slumber, movement, spa routines, or gastronomic exploration.”
With open living areas, large private balconies, soaking tubs, and rainforest showers, the resort has 98 guest rooms and suites, including 27 suites and two two-bedroom penthouses. The resort has two pools: the Beach Pool, which is an oceanfront counterpoint, and the Forest Pool, which is a shaded lagoon-like setting; THE BARAI Spa; a two-story Wellness Hub with a 24-hour fitness studio, yoga studio, holistic zone, and wellness shop; and two unique dining options: McFarland House, a 19th-century beachfront pavilion that serves modern European cuisine, grilled meats, weekday afternoon tea, and Sunday brunches.
The brand’s collection of independent, unique hotels is further expanded with the opening of THE BARAI Hua Hin, which is a part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection. The resort, which is the brand’s first location in Thailand, adds a fresh wellness narrative to the collection that is influenced by Sanook’s joyous Thai culture, architecture, tradition, and the natural world.
