MP-UP Sahyog Sammelan Boosts Investment and Interstate Tourism.
The MP-UP Sahyog Sammelan was held in Ramada, Varanasi, on March 31, 2026, by the Madhya Pradesh government.
A high-level round table was held on the sidelines to improve tourist coordination, draw in investment, and promote strategic collaboration between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav led the Madhya Pradesh delegation, which included Dr. Ilayaraja T., IAS, Managing Director, MPSTDC and Secretary, Tourism; Dr. Abhay Arvind Bedekar, IAS, Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board; and Mahendra Pratap Singh, Chairman, Tourism Committee, FICCI Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to Cabinet Ministers Rakesh Sachan and Nand Gopal Gupta, Prateek Hira, Chairman, Tourism Committee, FICCI Uttar Pradesh, led the 15-person group that included river cruise operators, hoteliers, tour operators, and investors.
The Chief Minister highlighted benefits under Madhya Pradesh’s tourism program while promising investors complete assistance. On behalf of FICCI Uttar Pradesh, Prateek Hira offered unwavering support, and Mahendra Pratap Singh returned the favour by expressing hope for the future of cooperation.
