Gaurav Issar Appointed General Manager of JW Marriott Mussoorie.
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Issar offers a wealth of knowledge in both revenue management and hotel operations. Throughout his career, he has developed a solid foundation in guest engagement and business strategy with top hospitality brands, such as Hyatt and Oberoi Hotels and Resorts.
Issar guided The Oberoi Sukhvilas in Chandigarh to its best revenue and operating profit while serving as general manager prior to this position. He was named “General Manager of the Year North” for his work at various properties, notably The Oberoi Wildflower Hall in Shimla.
Gaurav provides a leadership philosophy to JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort and Spa that is based on genuineness, meticulousness, and a thorough comprehension of changing visitor expectations. He is well-positioned to improve Marriott’s brand recognition in the area and further solidify the hotel’s market placement thanks to his vast resort experience and business acumen.
