Flyadeal to Launch Daily Riyadh–Hyderabad Flights from July 1.
Flyadeal, a low-cost airline based in Saudi Arabia and a member of the Saudia Group, has announced planned operations to India starting on July 1, 2026, with daily flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad.
Sanjiv Kapoor, interim chief executive officer of flyadeal and executive vice president of strategies at Saudia Group stated, “India, a long-awaited addition to flyadeal’s growing network of international destinations, is a key part of Saudia Group and flyadeal’s long-term strategy. Our sister airline Saudia, which has been a part of the parent Saudia Group’s long-standing presence in India since 1964, is the foundation for our guarantee of amiable, effective, affordable, and timely service.”
Driven by the close economic, social, and cultural ties that India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have had for many years, Hyderabad is the first stop in the airline’s planned expansion into India.
“Together with Saudia, the Saudia Group will now serve the Indian market comprehensively,” Sanjiv continued. Flyadeal offers the finest low fares for budget-conscious passengers, and Saudia offers full-service quality.
The airline stated that as it implements its India market strategy, it will shortly reveal a second Indian destination.
Flyadeal has run pilgrim-only flights for the Hajj and Umrah from certain locations in India to Saudi Arabia for the past three years, but this is the first time the airline will run regular scheduled flights between the two nations.
Flyadeal’s Airbus A320neo aircraft, which has 186 seats in an all-Economy Class configuration, will fly the Hyderabad route. Every seat has USB-A or USB-C charging connections, and Airbus’s renowned “Airspace” cabin decor features extra-large overhead bins.
Flyadeal’s international network already includes scheduled flights from Saudi Arabia to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, and Pakistan; India is a major addition.
From bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Dammam, the airline runs a youthful fleet of 46 Airbus A320 family aircraft to 37 seasonal and year-round destinations throughout Saudi Arabia as well as in the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and South Asia.
Flyadeal plans to more than double its network and fleet to over 100 destinations and aircraft, respectively, by 2030 in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030. Starting in 2027, Airbus A321neos and widebody A330-900neos will join its all-A320 fleet.
