Tatabye Tours Successfully Completes Four-City Maldives Roadshow Across Western India.

With the completion of its second Maldives roadshow in India, Tatabye Tours has increased its presence throughout Western India. Another important step in the company’s India outreach strategy was the four-city roadshow, which was sponsored by Visit Maldives and took place in Ahmedabad on March 31, 2026, Vadodara on April 1, 2026, Surat on April 3, 2026, and Pune on April 4, 2026.
The Western India roadshow saw high participation from travel agencies and business people, building on the success of its South India version and solidifying the Maldives’ standing as a top luxury vacation destination for Indian tourists
More than 520 tourism industry executives from four cities and 25 well-known Maldivian resorts attended the event, increasing its scope and industry significance.
Her Excellency Aishath Azeema, the Maldives’ High Commissioner to India, officially opened the roadshow in Ahmedabad. Her attendance highlighted the expanding travel and diplomatic connections between India and the Maldives.
Speaking at the event, Aishath Azeema emphasised India’s significance as a major partner, highlighting the Maldives’ attractiveness for segments like honeymoons and celebrations as well as strong people-to-people ties. She also praised Tatabye’s contribution to enhancing the two markets’ tourism cooperation.
Founded by Roshan Jain in 2014, Tatabye Tours has developed into a leading destination management company that specialises in opulent island experiences throughout the Maldives and beyond. The roadshow’s second iteration reaffirmed the company’s dedication to growing its presence in important Indian markets.
Leading resort partners in the Maldives came together for the event, which featured a variety of products in the leisure, luxury, wedding, and MICE sectors. It gave travel agencies a vibrant B2B platform to interact directly with resort personnel, look into special offers, and fortify commercial ties.
With carefully planned networking events, seminars, and interactive interactions aimed at improving product awareness and boosting sales for the Maldives as a premier travel destination, each location saw fervent participation.
Roshan Jain, Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Tatabye Tours, commented on the event’s results, saying, “The second edition of our Maldives four-city roadshow, our biggest to date, has delivered a highly encouraging outcome. The robust reaction in every city is indicative of both the quality of our collaborations and the growing desire of Indian tourists for opulent island experiences. We have been able to strengthen partnerships, create deep relationships, and establish the Maldives as a top premium travel destination thanks to this platform.”
Tatabye Tours continues to solidify its position as the leading Maldives-focused DMC in the Indian market with the Western India edition. The program also emphasises Tatabye’s continuous efforts to make luxury island travel more affordable and satisfying for its travel trade partners, as well as the growing significance of India as a source market for Maldivian tourism.
Tatabye Tours is anticipated to continue its goal of bringing Indian tourists closer to the Maldives by expanding its roadshow series throughout North and Central India in response to the positive momentum created by both editions.
