flydubai forms interline agreements with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways.

By entering into new interline agreements with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways, flydubai will increase connectivity throughout Asia, Australia, and Europe and give its customers access to over 80 more destinations via the networks of the two airlines.
Additionally, the agreements will allow travellers on Air India and Uzbekistan Airways to connect via Dubai to destinations throughout flydubai’s network. Baggage will be checked through to the final destination, and travellers will be able to plan trips on a single ticket.
Flydubai’s interline network now has 46 partner airlines thanks to the two additions, improving its connectivity through Dubai.
Flydubai’s collaboration with Air India would allow its customers to travel to Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Goa, Jaipur, Pune, and Varanasi, among other Indian locations. Additionally, links to overseas locations that Air India serves, such as Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Mauritius, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo, are made possible by the arrangement.
Flydubai’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, stated, “Our interline partnerships with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways mark a significant step forward in flydubai’s network expansion strategy, offering our passengers greater choice as they connect through Dubai.” While Uzbekistan Airways adds a crucial route through Central Asia, Russia, and into Europe, Air India makes South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australian markets accessible, solidifying Dubai’s standing as a major hub linking the East and the West and bolstering our capacity to increase connectivity to important international markets.
Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer stated, “At Air India, we are steadily expanding our partnerships with leading airlines around the world to offer our customers access to an even broader global network, with seamless connectivity and greater travel choice beyond our own destinations. In addition to welcome flydubai customers onto Air India’s expanding global network, our collaboration with flydubai enhances connectivity to markets throughout the Middle East and beyond via Dubai. We look forward to introducing more passengers to Air India’s new experience and the warmth of genuine Indian hospitality on an expanding number of routes as we continue our transformation journey.”
In the meanwhile, Uzbekistan Airways will connect travellers via Tashkent to prominent Uzbek locations like Bukhara, Fergana, and Urgench; key European gateways like Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, and Rome; and Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, and Moscow.
Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways stated, “We are happy to start a new chapter of cooperation between Uzbekistan Airways and flydubai. By entering into commercial agreements, our airlines will be able to take use of the advantages of each other’s route networks, increase the number of destinations available to our customers, and improve the convenience of foreign travel. We are optimistic that this collaboration will open up new possibilities for our travellers and help solidify Uzbekistan’s standing as a major aviation hub in Central Asia.”
At the moment, flydubai serves over 120 destinations. The carrier established in Dubai provides access to over 300 locations globally through its codeshare and interline partnerships.
