Bhavik Sheth Launches Opulent Oasis Hospitality in Sasan Gir.
Bhavik Sheth, a veteran of the hospitality industry, has announced the opening of Opulent Oasis Hospitality, his first venture into the Indian experiential hospitality market.
With its initial initiative, Wild Calm, a nature-led retreat in Sasan Gir, an area known worldwide for its wildlife ecology and Asiatic lion habitat, the company entered the market.
Opulent Oasis Hospitality intends to concentrate on “experience-first” hotels that prioritise emotional interaction, local context, and immersive guest journeys above generic large-scale hotel formats in order to position itself within the expanding experiential travel and destination-led hospitality segment.
A carefully chosen assortment of amenities, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, multi-cuisine restaurant, kitchen garden, and an activity arena intended for cultural programming and gatherings, will accompany Wild Calm’s 53 keys, which will include private pool villas and immersive stay formats. The property is further anchored in its natural setting by outdoor interaction areas including box cricket courts, pickleball courts, and carefully planned landscape interventions like a Miyawaki forest.
Beyond the physical infrastructure, the experience design incorporates organised yet adaptable visitor routes. A variety of stay arrangements are available to guests, incorporating features like storytelling sessions, botanical walks, nature-led activities, ceramics, carefully chosen high tea experiences, and leisurely evening rituals.
Crucially, the research shows how hospitality operators are starting to reconsider “experience” as a fundamental design principle that influences everything from space planning to service philosophy rather than as an add-on activity layer.

Opulent Oasis Hospitality intends to selectively expand from Wild Calm into wildlife regions, ecotourism circuits, desert landscapes, and culturally significant destinations. It also plans to assess opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets as well as emerging spiritual travel segments.
According to Opulent Oasis Hospitality, it plans to adopt a measured expansion strategy focused on locations with significant narrative, cultural, and ecological significance.
