Centrum Air launches Hyderabad-Tashkent during Hyderabad travel trade show.

Representatives from the Uzbekistan Embassy, Centrum Air, Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, Aeroprime Group, travel agencies, OTAs, and other industry stakeholders attended a networking event at The Leela in Hyderabad to commemorate the impending launch of its Hyderabad-Tashkent service.
Hyderabad will become the airline’s second Indian gateway after Delhi when scheduled flights between Hyderabad and Tashkent begin on September 28, 2026. An Airbus A320neo will be used to fly the twice-weekly service, which will offer direct access to the capital of Uzbekistan and subsequent connectivity to locations throughout Central Asia, the CIS, the Middle East, and Europe via Centrum Air’s Tashkent hub.
On Mondays and Thursdays, Flight C6 551 will fly from Tashkent to Hyderabad, leaving at 21:30 and arriving at 02:20. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the return flight, C6 552, will fly from Hyderabad to Tashkent, leaving at 03:35 and arriving at 07:45.
In addition to promoting travel, commerce, and trade between India and Uzbekistan, the new route is anticipated to improve access to Uzbekistan for visitors from Hyderabad, Telangana, and the larger South Indian market.
H.E. Dr. Sardor Mirzayusupovich Rustambaev, the ambassador of Uzbekistan, top management of Centrum Air, and other dignitaries ceremoniously lit the diya to start the celebration.
Adil Mirza, Head of Agents Division, Centrum Air stated, “The launch of our Hyderabad–Tashkent service marks an important milestone in Centrum Air’s international expansion and our commitment to the Indian market. Hyderabad has great potential for both business and pleasure travel, making it a vibrant and strategically significant market. We are thrilled to provide travellers with improved access to Uzbekistan and other locations by directly connecting Hyderabad with Tashkent. As we continue to increase our footprint in India, we are eager to establish solid ties with the tourism industry and our partners there.”
Leading Centrum Air’s market expansion and trade interaction in India is Aeroprime Group, the airline’s exclusive general sales agent (GSA).
“The launch of direct Hyderabad–Tashkent connectivity marks another significant milestone in Centrum Air’s India growth story,” stated Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director & CEO, Aeroprime Group. This new service will create exciting opportunities for travel, trade, and tourism in Hyderabad, which has enormous potential as an international aviation and economic hub.
Centrum Air will now operate seven weekly flights from India, two from Hyderabad and five from Delhi.
“This rapid expansion reflects the airline’s strong confidence in the Indian market and the growing demand for connectivity between India and Central Asia. We are incredibly honoured to have been a part of this journey and to witness Centrum Air accomplish this significant milestone so quickly,” Goyal continued.
The event also demonstrated the wider possibility of connectivity between India and Uzbekistan. The Uzbek ambassador spoke to the group on the two nations’ developing relationship and the importance of direct air connectivity for trade and tourism.
The Uzbekistan Tourism Committee’s presentation showcasing the destination’s tourism offerings came after Centrum Air’s presentation of its services, brand vision, and market positioning.
Additionally, the evening gave Centrum Air and Aeroprime Group a chance to interact with the tourism industry in Hyderabad. Centrum Air offered return tickets between Hyderabad and Tashkent to chosen winners of a fortunate lottery, giving them a chance to test out the new connectivity.
