Air India Express launches Navi Mumbai Airport’s first international flights.
Air India Express has announced the beginning of direct flights between Navi Mumbai International Airport and Abu Dhabi, becoming the first airline to commence international operations from Maharashtra’s newest airport.
The new service will commence on July 15, 2026, starting operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays. From July 29, 2026, the frequency will increase to three weekly flights, with an additional Sunday service. Bookings are now open through the airline’s website, mobile app and other main booking channels.
The route provides visitors across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a second international gateway to the UAE, boosting connectivity, convenience and travel options.
With the commencement of the Abu Dhabi service, Air India Express will operate 30 weekly flights from Navi Mumbai, linking the airport directly with Abu Dhabi, Bengaluru and Delhi.
The airline continues to extend its footprint in Maharashtra, operating over 95 weekly flights from Mumbai, more than 100 weekly flights from Pune, and 14 weekly flights from Nagpur.
Air India Express also conducts one of the largest India-West Asia networks, linking numerous Indian cities with destinations across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
