Hilton opens Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit in Southeast Asia.

Bangkok Sukhumvit was Hilton’s first Canopy Hotel in Southeast Asia. The 174-room hotel in Bangkok’s Asoke neighbourhood connects guests to the city’s culture and character with locally inspired décor, four restaurants, and personalised experiences.
The hotel is six minutes from the Asoke BTS Skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT stations, giving guests quick access to Terminal 21 and Times Square Shopping Center in Bangkok’s shopping, dining, nightlife, and business districts.
Bangkok has always been one of South East Asia’s most fascinating cities, and Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit offers a new dimension to Hilton’s increasing lifestyle offering in the region, said Alexandra Murray, Hilton Area Vise President and Regional Head of South East Asia. Hilton’s renowned hospitality, innovative design, distinctive dining, and city-curated activities provide a fresh way to explore Bangkok, merging the comfort and familiarity of home with the inspiration of being somewhere new.
The hotel’s design draws from Asoke’s industrial past, Sri Krung Sound Film Studio, and Bangkok’s old and new. Interior designers AvroKO built a bronze façade inspired by vintage film cameras and a central courtyard connecting the street to the hotel’s communal areas.
Kings Suk Jai and two King Asoke Suites, King and Twin Canopy accommodations, Urban View, Courtyard, and Corner Rooms are among the resort’s 174 accommodations. The furnishings resemble Sukhumvit Soi 12 Thai family homes, and a blue Paa Khram canopy above the beds commemorates Thailand’s handwoven textile legacy.
Connecting rooms for families, friends, and small groups are available. A rooftop pool and 24-hour gym are accessible.
With four restaurants and bars, the hotel stresses cuisine and drink. Barcelona, Valencia, and Andalusia-inspired wood-fired dishes and shared platters are offered at Cante, its Spanish fire grill and taberna. SoolHaus serves Korean drinks and Luso sells Bangkok-roasted coffee and Thai teas. Glint rooftop pool bar featuring cabanas, skyline views and handcrafted cocktails.
Visitors may also explore local relationships at Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit. The hotel has worked with Bangkok-based lifestyle company LalaLove on unique items and a contemporary Thai handcraft shop.
Klong Saen Saeb Boat activities, Morning Neighbourhood Walks, and Postcards from Asoke will introduce guests to local cafés, creative spaces, waterways, and community activities led by a City Curator.
Canopy Hotels Global Brand Leader and Vice President Alex Coleman said, “Thoughtful design, genuine connections, and experiences inspired by each destination help guests feel at home, wherever they are. Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit incorporates Asoke’s energy into its design, gastronomy, and unexpected city experiences. We are pleased to welcome Bangkok to our network of hotels that emphasise local identity as the brand grows globally.”
LLAN Asset Managing Director Ishmit Bajaj said, “Sukhumvit Soi 12 has always been special to us. Thru patience, perseverance, and a great team, we transformed an empty property into a destination that respects Asoke and offers new ways to gather, connect, and enjoy one of Bangkok’s most dynamic areas. Hilton’s partnership gives us confidence to open South East Asia’s first Canopy Hotel. We adore launching unique, experience-driven, purpose-designed products.”
