Malaysia Airlines suspends Doha, Jeddah and Madinah flights until March 4.
In view of the ongoing shutdown of airspace in some areas of the Middle East due to growing regional security concerns, Malaysia Airlines has announced that all flights to and from Doha (DOH), Jeddah (JED), and Madinah (MED) will be suspended until March 4, 2026. This action is in addition to the cancellations that were already announced and carried out from February 28 to March 1, 2026.
All other services, including flights to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and London Heathrow (LHR), are running according to the airline’s confirmation. Alternative aircraft routes that avoid the impacted conflict areas are being used to reroute these planes.
MH150/151, MH156/157, MH160/161, MH164/165, and several MH6000-series codeshare flights are among the services that have been affected between Kuala Lumpur and the halted destinations from March 1–5, 2026.
Passengers who are impacted are being informed personally and, if necessary, are being offered assistance with alternate travel arrangements. In order to obtain timely updates, the airline has recommended passengers to update their contact information using the “My Booking” area of its website.
According to Malaysia Airlines, services to the impacted locations will continue to be halted while additional security evaluations are conducted. The airline reaffirmed that customer and crew safety is still its top concern while keeping a careful eye on events.
