Kenya launches social media sites specifically for the Indian market.

To meet the needs of Indian tour operators, travel agents, MICE planners, and industry stakeholders, the India pages will be the go to source for destination education, product led storytelling, curated itineraries, and market relevant updates.
As part of its strategic commitment to greater interaction with the Indian market, the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) announced the opening of its dedicated India-focused social media profiles, mainly on Facebook and Instagram.
India remains one of Kenya’s long-term, high potential growth markets. Travel from India showed steady performance in 2025 with higher quality conversions, indicating a move towards longer stays, private safaris, tailored trips, and itineraries with multiple experiences. Closer market interaction is crucial, as seen by the shift from volume led travel to value-driven demand. By providing simple access to location updates, Signature Experiences, seasonal highlights, and market specific content that travellers and trade partners can use directly to plan itineraries, the recently created India pages seek to complement this strategy. To keep partners in line with Kenya’s changing tourism offering, the portal will also be utilised to announce webinars, trade initiatives, and training opportunities.
According to reports, the location is becoming more and more popular in India as a multi experience vacation option that includes golf, celebrations, soft adventure, wellness in nature, coastal and island getaways, culture and heritage, and custom luxury travel. In order to ensure that digital inspiration is supported by intelligent selling, the India focused social media accounts are meant to supplement, not replace, on ground B2B involvement.
