Virgin Atlantic Increases London Heathrow–Bengaluru Flights to 11 Weekly.
Virgin Atlantic currently offers more than 500,000 tickets per year between the UK and India thanks to a 250% increase in capacity. In January, February, and March 2026, Virgin Atlantic will increase the number of weekly flights between London Heathrow and Bengaluru (Bangalore) from seven to eleven, fortifying ties between the UK and India and improving connectivity throughout North America.
With India being Virgin Atlantic’s largest non-US market, the updated schedule is expected to supplement the airline’s double daily flights from London Heathrow to Delhi and Mumbai. It also expands the airline’s partnership with IndiGo by offering connections to 33 Indian destinations, including Goa, Amritsar, and Jaipur. Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which has 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium, and 192 Economy seats in addition to the airline’s iconic Upper Class social area, operates the Bengaluru service. Virgin Atlantic now offers over 500,000 tickets a year between the UK and India, having boosted capacity to India by 250% since 2019.
