Sterling expands Northeast India presence with Sterling Mount Olive Gangtok.

Located in the heart of the city, Sterling opens its second hotel in Sikkim and its fourth in the Northeast, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

The brand-new Sterling Mount Olive Gangtok, a modern city hotel in the centre of Gangtok, was unveiled by Sterling Holiday Resorts.

In addition to the brand’s current leisure resort, Sterling Gangtok Orange Village, which is located in a more tranquil area outside of the city, this launch represents Sterling’s second property in Gangtok.

Stanley Mount Olive is situated in Gangtok’s Development Area, which serves as the city’s commercial and administrative centre. Gangtok’s rooms and balcony have expansive views of the city skyline due to its lofty location. It is the perfect choice for business visitors, professionals on short stays, and leisure tourists who want to stay close to the activity in the city because of its central position, which puts guests within walking distance of important government buildings, business centres, and the bustling MG Marg shopping promenade.

“The launch of Sterling Mount Olive Gangtok strengthens our presence in the Northeast with a hotel that is purposefully designed around location and accessibility,” stated Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts. Throughout the year, Gangtok draws both business and leisure tourists, and this hotel meets the need for a convenient, first-rate stay that enables visitors to interact with the city up close while taking advantage of Sterling’s renowned comfort and service.

The hotel offers well-thought-out rooms with own balconies. The hotel is ideal for short business trips, extended stays, and small families looking for a convenient urban base because of its pleasant, modern interior design, gentle lighting, and serene views of the city or hills. Both domestic and foreign travellers can easily access Sterling Mount Olive Gangtok thanks to its excellent connections to Bagdogra Airport and New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station.
