TAFI Northern India chapter held its members meeting at New Delhi
On March 18, 2026, the Northern India Chapter of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) held its members meeting at The Park in New Delhi, which brought together more than 100 member agents and representatives from travel media.
Dinesh Kumar, Chairman of the TAFI Northern India Chapter, presided over the meeting and gave members an update on the chapter’s most recent projects. Additionally, he declared that since August 2025, 19 new members have joined, bringing the chapter’s total membership to over 330. After being properly greeted, the newly admitted members received their membership certificates.
Over 250 agents have already benefited from the TAFI joint bank guarantee plan, according to Anil Kalsi, National Vice President of TAFI, who spoke to the group and gave an update on the program.
Dr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman of STIC Travel Group, also gave his thoughts on the present geopolitical environment and how it affects the travel sector at the event.
Asego and GoMMT gave members updates on their products through product presentations. Charu Arora, a member of the TAFI Northern India Chapter’s Executive Committee, gave a vote of gratitude to end the meeting.
