Malaysia Airlines and Visa collaborate.

Both sides will concentrate on cooperative marketing campaigns and customer-focused developments during the three-year collaboration.
A strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been struck by Visa and Malaysia Airlines to work together on specific projects that will improve customer experiences and increase demand for travel throughout Malaysia Airlines’ international network.
Visa’s worldwide leadership in digital payments and Malaysia Airlines’ proficiency in providing first-rate travel experiences come together in this three-year agreement with the common goal of making travel more smooth, customised, and fulfilling for passengers.
Under the partnership, both sides will concentrate on cooperative marketing campaigns and customer-focused innovations, such as integrated campaigns to boost demand for travel throughout the international network of airlines, special benefits and co-branded offers for Visa cardholders, and improved digital engagement through data-driven marketing and targeted social media activations.
Visa cardholders will receive an extra 5% off Malaysia Airlines and Firefly reservations from April 2 to April 13, 2026, on the airlines’ website and mobile app, as part of the partnership rollout, when they use the promo code MHVISA26.
“Our partnership with Visa reflects our commitment to delivering more integrated travel experiences, combining connectivity, convenience, and value across every touchpoint of the journey. By working together, we are creating new avenues for meaningful traveller engagement and increasing demand throughout our network,” stated Bryan Foong, Chief Executive Officer of Airline Business at Malaysia Aviation Group.
Previn Pillay, Country Manager, Visa Malaysia stated, “We continue to see strong momentum in overseas travel and spending. We are providing Visa cardholders with significant benefits beyond payments through our collaboration with Malaysia Airlines, including attractive deals, special access, and easier booking and travel processes.”
The three-year Memorandum of Understanding creates a solid basis for long-term cooperation as both sides look into additional marketing, digital innovation, and customer interaction opportunities. Under different agreements, specific campaigns and initiatives will be implemented gradually.
