On May 21, Kobe Airport in Japan will open Lounge KOBE at Terminal 2.

On May 21, 2026, Kansai Airports Kobe plans to open and start operating “Lounge KOBE” at Kobe Airport Terminal 2.
The new airline lounge, which is situated in Terminal 2’s international departure waiting area, was created to capture the spirit and character of Kobe as a port city.
Kansai Airports Kobe claims that the lounge’s décor features city-inspired design elements, such as seaside-themed carpets and Kobe tartan-patterned walls, giving visitors a stylish and modern atmosphere.
In an effort to give visitors a genuine local experience prior to their departure, the lounge will also provide eating experiences with regional cuisine and local ingredients from Kobe and Hyogo Prefecture.
According to the airport operator, the new facility was created to improve the entire foreign travel experience at Kobe Airport while providing travellers with a comfortable and tranquil setting.
Additionally, Kansai Airports Group stated that it will keep striving to enhance customer convenience and provide smooth, pleasurable, and superior travel experiences throughout its network of airports
