Air India & Booking.com Partner on Maharaja Club Rewards.

In order to provide consumers with a smooth travel booking experience by incorporating hotel reservations into the airline’s digital platforms, Air India has formed a strategic relationship with the international digital travel platform Booking.com.

Customers can now book from Booking.com‘s global inventory of over 31 million reported accommodation listings across 45 languages, including over 8.6 million homes, villas, and other unique stays, through a dedicated co-branded platform that is accessible on the Air India website and mobile app. Booking.com offers round-the-clock customer support.

Members of Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty program will receive five Maharaja Points for each ₹100 spent on lodging made via the site as part of the agreement. Award flights and cabin upgrades can be purchased using the points. Additionally, for reservations made between June 22 and July 21, 2026, consumers can receive savings of up to 15% on participating establishments.

Air India’s Divisional Vice President and Head of Revenue Management, Abhijit Menon, commented on the collaboration, saying, “Our partnership with Booking.com is another step in our efforts to build a comprehensive travel ecosystem for our customers. Through the integration of Booking.com’s extensive portfolio with Air India’s expanding worldwide network, we are providing our customers with increased convenience, choice, and value throughout their travels.”

Laura Houldsworth, Managing Director and Vice President, Asia Pacific at Booking.com stated, “We are thrilled to partner with Air India as travellers increasingly seek integrated, digital-first travel experiences. Our Connected Trip philosophy of simplifying and streamlining travel planning is reflected in this partnership. We are making it simpler for visitors to book their flights and stay in one location by merging our extensive worldwide lodging inventory with Air India’s expanding international network.” Additionally, by providing better value, rewarding loyalty, and fostering a more seamless, end-to-end travel experience, this relationship strengthens our dedication to India.

Travellers are increasingly choosing to organise several aspects of their trip on a single platform, according to industry research. According to research, leisure travellers choose trip packages that include lodging, airfare, and other amenities.

Additionally, Air India reported that the Maharaja Club loyalty program has grown considerably in the last two years, with over 100 brand collaborations in various categories. The airline provides Maharaja Club members with access to a variety of international privileges throughout the alliance’s global network as a member of Star Alliance.
