BWH Hotels Expands Africa Portfolio with Four New Hotels.
As the firm gets ready to take part in the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Africa, which will take place from March 31 to April 1, 2026, BWH Hotels, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and SureStay Hotels announced their renewed dedication to the African continent. Wytze van den Berg, VP of International Operations at BWH Hotels, and his staff will represent the company in important talks on investment and expansion in the hospitality industry throughout the region.
Four additional hotel launches are scheduled for this year as part of the group’s ongoing strategic growth throughout Africa, bolstering its presence in important regional markets. The brand’s dedication to assisting Africa’s thriving tourist and business travel industries is reflected in the expansion, which includes two new hotels in Nigeria, one in Ethiopia, and one in Tanzania. The group’s upmarket and higher midscale properties in Nigeria are the Best Western Premier McDons Skye Hotel and the Best Western Plus Ambience Hotel Ikeja, which combine contemporary architecture, global service standards, and locally inspired hospitality.

Van den Berg stated, “We have signed over 25 new pipeline properties in Morocco in the last year, and we are actively working on a dozen additional projects in Egypt.
